About EU4Trade Palestine

A 36-month initiative implemented by PalTrade with EU support, aiming to unlock the full potential of Palestinian exports by enhancing SME capacities, strengthening market linkages, and establishing sustainable trade infrastructure.

Overall Goal

Unlock Palestine's export potential and contribute to sustainable economic growth and job creation.

Outcome 1

Enhanced performance of PalTrade to support SMEs through the Market Intelligence Hub and strengthened institutional capacity.

Outcome 2

Strengthened export-oriented capacity of Palestinian SMEs through product development, market development, and capacity building.

Implementation

July 2024 – July 2027 (36 months) with EU contribution of €3,000,000 (89.96% of total eligible costs).

Our Story

Palestinian SMEs face significant barriers in international trade due to high logistics costs, limited access to finance, and export restrictions. EU4Trade addresses these challenges through strategic interventions in intelligence, capacity building, and market expansion.

The project runs from July 18, 2024 to July 18, 2027, with a total budget of €3,334,800, of which €3,000,000 (89.96%) is contributed by the European Union. EU4Trade operates across the West Bank and Gaza (when conditions allow), providing comprehensive support to Palestinian exporters.

Through the establishment of the Market Intelligence Hub, technical assistance to 30 SMEs, the Rotterdam Hub for EU market access, and extensive capacity building programs, EU4Trade is creating sustainable pathways for Palestinian products to reach international markets.
